Christopher Dicran Hale was raised in Nepal and India where he began studies in sitar. He studied jazz guitar and classical composition at Berklee College, graduating with a BA in music composition in 1990. From 1990-99 he toured with Olio, a rock band in India. In 1999 Christopher formed the devotional fusion band Aradhna with Pete Hicks, releasing seven albums. Christopher is based in Toronto
